Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how PrivStay handles wallet-based identity, booking records, reward NFTs, uploaded media, and marketplace activity during testnet development.

Important: blockchain data is public and cannot be deleted by PrivStay after confirmation. Avoid sharing sensitive personal data in testnet flows.

1. Testnet privacy notice

PrivStay is currently operating in testnet mode. During testnet, we may collect product usage data, wallet addresses, test bookings, listing metadata, uploaded images, and transaction references to improve reliability before production launch.

Please do not upload sensitive identity documents, payment secrets, private keys, passport scans, or confidential personal information unless PrivStay provides a verified production flow for that data.

2. Information we may collect

Wallet information: wallet address, connected network, role, signatures used for authentication, balances displayed by wallet tools, and transaction hashes related to bookings, rewards, listings, purchases, cancels, and redemptions.

Marketplace information: stay listings, host-created reward campaigns, reward images, voucher descriptions, tier rules, prices, expiry dates, resale status, and redemption state.

Booking information: selected property, dates, booking status, payment status, escrow references, check-in or completion state, and support/dispute metadata if applicable.

Technical information: browser type, approximate device information, error logs, API requests, and RPC/network status used to operate and debug the marketplace.

3. How we use information

We use information to operate PrivStay, authenticate wallets, display marketplace listings, process testnet booking flows, mint or sync reward NFTs, support resale listings, show user profile history, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and improve product performance.

We may also use aggregated or de-identified information to understand marketplace usage, reward demand, host activity, and testnet reliability.

4. Blockchain data is public

Transactions submitted to public blockchain networks may be visible to anyone. This can include wallet addresses, token ownership, approvals, listing events, purchase events, transfers, and redemption-related events depending on contract design.

PrivStay cannot delete, edit, or hide public blockchain history after it is confirmed. You should assume on-chain activity is permanent and publicly inspectable.

5. Images and metadata

Hosts may upload stay images and reward images. These assets may be stored by third-party media providers or content delivery networks and may be used in marketplace cards, user profiles, and NFT metadata endpoints.

NFT metadata may include reward name, description, image URL, tier, value, expiry, and other marketplace attributes. If metadata is public, third-party wallets and explorers may cache it.

6. Sharing information

We may share relevant booking or reward information with the host, guest, or buyer/seller involved in a transaction so the stay, voucher, or reward can be fulfilled. We may also share data with infrastructure providers that help operate storage, hosting, analytics, RPC access, wallet connectivity, and security monitoring.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect application data. However, no online system is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your wallet, seed phrase, private keys, and connected accounts.

8. Your choices

You may disconnect your wallet, stop using testnet features, request correction of off-chain profile information, or contact PrivStay about data questions. On-chain transactions cannot generally be removed by PrivStay.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as PrivStay evolves from testnet to production. Material changes should be reflected in the application or official channels.

10. Contact

Questions about privacy can be sent through PrivStay support or the contact channels provided in the application.
