Terms of Service

These Terms describe the rules for using PrivStay testnet booking, reward NFT, voucher, and marketplace features. This page is written for product clarity and should be reviewed by legal counsel before mainnet or commercial launch.

Testnet disclosure: PrivStay is currently a testnet product. Testnet bookings, testnet USDC, reward NFTs, and marketplace activity are for testing and demonstration unless PrivStay expressly states otherwise.

1. Testnet notice

PrivStay is currently operating in testnet mode. Wallet transactions, reward NFTs, escrow flows, USDC payments, and marketplace actions may use testnet assets only unless explicitly stated otherwise. Testnet tokens do not represent real-world money, guaranteed travel value, or a claim against PrivStay.

Features may change, fail, be paused, or be reset while the product is being developed. You should not treat testnet activity as a production booking confirmation unless PrivStay separately confirms it through an official production channel.

2. What PrivStay provides

PrivStay is a Web3 travel marketplace that helps users discover stays, book listed properties, unlock host-created travel rewards, and trade unused reward tickets before they expire. Rewards may include food vouchers, activity tickets, stay credits, local experiences, transport perks, or premium travel benefits.

PrivStay provides marketplace software, wallet-based ownership records, and user interface tools. Hosts remain responsible for the accuracy of their listings, availability, reward descriptions, redemption rules, and guest experience.

3. Wallets and blockchain transactions

You are responsible for your wallet, private keys, approvals, signatures, gas fees, and any transactions you submit. Blockchain transactions are public, irreversible once confirmed, and may not be cancellable by PrivStay.

Always verify the network, contract address, transaction amount, and wallet address before confirming any transaction. PrivStay may display transaction status, but final confirmation comes from the blockchain network.

4. Bookings, escrow, payout, and refunds

Bookings may use escrow-style payment logic where funds are held until a booking, stay, or service milestone is completed. Payout and refund eligibility depends on the booking state, host rules, cancellation policy, and applicable on-chain transaction status.

A submitted transaction does not always mean a completed booking. A booking may require confirmations, host verification, check-in, redeem, or completion steps before funds are released or rewards are unlocked.

5. Reward NFTs, vouchers, and resale marketplace

Reward NFTs represent a wallet-held right to a specific PrivStay reward experience according to the rules shown by the host. They are not investment products, securities, or guaranteed profit opportunities.

A reward may expire, become redeemed, become non-transferable, or be subject to host-specific redemption limits. Once a reward is redeemed, expired, cancelled, or invalidated, it may no longer be sold or used again.

If a reward is listed on the marketplace, the buyer is responsible for checking the reward type, expiry date, destination, verification status, price, and redemption conditions before purchasing.

6. Host responsibilities

Hosts must provide accurate stay information, pricing, availability, images, reward details, redemption terms, and any required guest instructions. Hosts should only create rewards they can reasonably honor.

PrivStay may hide, suspend, or remove listings or rewards that appear misleading, unsafe, abusive, fraudulent, expired, or inconsistent with marketplace rules.

7. Guest responsibilities

Guests must use accurate information, respect host rules, confirm wallet transactions carefully, and redeem rewards only according to the displayed rules. Guests should not attempt to abuse loyalty tiers, create fake bookings, resell invalid rewards, or interfere with marketplace operation.

8. Fees and network costs

PrivStay may charge marketplace, platform, host, royalty, or service fees. Blockchain transactions may also require network gas fees. Any fee shown in the interface is intended to be transparent before you confirm a transaction, but final network costs depend on the blockchain.

9. Risk disclaimer

Web3 applications involve risks including wallet loss, user error, network congestion, smart contract bugs, oracle or RPC failures, inaccurate metadata, and third-party service interruptions. PrivStay does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, resale liquidity, reward value, or future marketplace demand.

10. Contact

Questions about these Terms may be sent through the PrivStay support or contact channels shown in the application. These Terms may be updated as PrivStay moves from testnet toward production.
